RS-232 Pin 2/3 Reverser

The RS-232 Pin 2/3 Reverser is used to reverse pin 2 (Transmit Data)
and pin 3 (Receive Data) without changing any other pins. The reverser has
one male and one female connector with all pins except 2 and 3 connected
straight through. Pin 2 of the male connector goes to pin 3 of the female, and
pin 3 of the male connector goes to pin 2 of the female.
Having pins 2 and 3 reversed is one of the more common problems in
an RS-232 interface. The reverser allows you to quickly test for this problem
without disturbing any cables.
