Four Serial Port for USB
Models USB41 & USB42
Overview
Many users are starting to look for ways to protect their
peripheral investment, while moving to new USB-based systems.
USB-4x port servers make this possible. Connecting to a USB
port, each model provides four serial ports for interfacing
modems, printers, scanners, and other serial devices. Two
models are available. The USB-41 has two RS-232 and two RS-
422 ports, and the USB-42 provides four RS-422 ports. Each
model is housed in a small plastic cabinet.
Universal Serial Bus
The USB is now a standard feature on virtually all new personal computers. A single USB interface
will connect up to 127 devices and support data rates of 12 Mbps. Many new peripherals developed for
the USB interface will soon be available.
Windows Flexibility
Complete, easy-to-install operating systems drivers support systems running Windows 95/OSR2.1
and Windows 98.
