Thinking optical solutions
1300nm Mini-DIL
Transmitter
The LCV 75 series are optical transmitters suitable for
155/622 Mbit/s Long / Intermediate reach SONET,and
Long/Short Haul SDH single mode applications. They use
Bookham Technology's one piece fibre alignment technology
offering high stability and reliability. Bookham Technology's
unsurpassed quality and reliability are featured in a rugged,
hermetically sealed ceramic package, and fully tested for
environmental integrity.
The laser chip has been specifically developed for operation
over an extended temperature range and the product is capable
of satisfying the requirements of the Bellcore quality specification
TA - NWT - 000983.
The rear facet monitor diode has been optimised to provide a
fast response enabling either conventional mean power control or
individual bit monitoring at speeds in excess of 622 Mbit/s.
The LCV series is compatible with the PTAV miniDIL receiver.
