AnaLink plug-in
module for EDM 35
This new module forms a
link between two successful
product concepts developed
by Carlo Gavazzi: the EDM
35 digital panel meter and
Dupline
-AnaLink. This com-
bination enables reliable
measuring techniques, in
particular in applications
with temperature monitor-
ing, - control and analogue
measuring values.
The analogue measuring val-
ues appearing at different
locations in an installation
are detected by AnaLink
sensors, which are all con-
nected to a twisted pair of
cables. The measuring val-
ues are then displayed either
locally or centrally (up to 5
km away) or both by means
of EDM 35 panel meters.
The display of analogue
measuring values at different
locations in an installation is
made possible by the G
2139 1139 module, which
can be coded so that the
same analogue measuring
value is displayed at many
locations.
Function and setting of the
plug-in module is so simple
that also personnel without
experience in Dupline
can
start up the system success-
fully.
By using this plug-in module
there is no need for the tem-
perature monitoring module
G3890 0030, which is nor-
mally required for applica-
tions with AnaLink sensors.
Instead standard channel
generators can be used, eg
type G 3490 0000 or type
FPD 1901. It should be
noted that the plug-in mod-
ule can only be used in
channels with normal mon-
stable function.
The plug-in module G 2139
1139 features two rotary
switches, with which to
select the 1-channel
Dupline
address of those
AnaLink sensors whose
measuring values must be
displayed. The channel
group is selected with one
switch and the channel num-
ber with the other switch.
This address selection and
as well as the scaling and
setting of the EDM 35 is all
that is needed for the config-
uration.
