Hamamatsu now introduces a state-of-the-art X-ray imaging device, the model C7410 Flat Panel Sensor. This is a key device for digital X-ray
imaging such as in non-destructive inspection and biomedical analysis, and delivers high-quality images at a TV scan rate.
C7410 uses a MOS image sensor specifically designed for real-time X-ray imaging, coupled to a FOS (fiber optic plate coated with a CsI
scintillator) and mounted on a PC board along with integrated circuit chips and control circuits. The MOS image sensor consists of a two-
dimensional active detector matrix of photodiode arrays with FET switches, which are sensitive to blue green emission of the CsI scintillator. Each
row of the pixelized array is addressed in sequence from a vertical shift register connected to the gate line. Two charge-sensitive amplifier array
chips with a horizontal shift register, sense the charge on each of the video line and transfer the video signal through a pair of output ports. The
video image data can be transferred to a display unit through an analog image grabber board and video memory installed in the PC.
C7410 Flat Panel Sensor is ideal for a wide range of applications in real-time digital X-ray imaging and processing.

peripherals should be prepared.
PC: An IBM compatible PC running on Windows or
a Power Macintosh
Frame Grabber Card: 75

memory size (see the frame grabber manual.)

output cable: These cables are attached to the C7410
except for the external frame start (FS_Ext ) cable.
