128 elements of 1-D PSD are arrayed in parallel
S5681
S5681 is a 128-element PSD linear array. By scanning a slit-form light beam right and left based on the slit light projection method, S5681 allows
measuring a 3-D shape of the object. Custom devices with a different active area shape or number of elements are also available.

*1: Suppose errors at a position 2.23 mm (70 %) away from the origin are LE (+) and LE (-) when the electrical center of a PSD
is viewed as the origin, the positional shift from a straight line connecting between LE (+) and LE (-) is specified as the
position detection error. (See the figure at the right.)
*2: Detectable amount of light spot displacement. The detection limit is expressed in terms of the distance on the active area.

By scanning a slit-form light beam over the target object
right and left with a rotational mirror, the slit-form image
of the target object can be measured on the surface of the
128-element PSD array. Position data at 128 points can
also be obtained simultaneously.
